These terms are the agreement between you and GetPDFSigned when you use this website and app. They're written to be read. By using GetPDFSigned, you agree to them.

What GetPDFSigned does

GetPDFSigned lets you edit PDF pages, fill in and sign PDFs yourself, and send a PDF to someone else to sign with a link. The person signing doesn't need an account. Sending documents for signature needs an account.

Your account

• You sign in with Google or with a link sent to your email. Keep access to that email safe, because anyone who has it can sign in as you.
• You're responsible for what's sent from your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.

Using it fairly

You agree not to use GetPDFSigned to:

• trick people, including phishing, fake invoices, or pretending to be someone you're not
• send anything illegal, or anything that harasses, threatens or exploits anyone
• send malware, or try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service
• send documents you don't have the right to share

Anyone who receives a signing link can report it. A document reported by several people is disabled automatically, and we may disable documents or accounts that break these terms, without notice when it's needed to protect people.

Your documents

Your documents stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and show them only as needed to run GetPDFSigned for you: keeping your drafts, showing the document to the person you send it to and delivering the signed copy. You're responsible for the content of what you send and for having the right to send it.

Electronic signatures

• Many countries, including the US (ESIGN Act), the EU (eIDAS) and India (IT Act, 2000), recognize electronic signatures for most everyday documents. Some documents, such as wills and property sale deeds, usually still need ink, a stamp or a notary. It's up to you to check that an electronic signature is right for your document.
• GetPDFSigned doesn't check who senders or signers really are. The activity record (times, devices, IP addresses and file fingerprints) is evidence of what happened, not proof of identity.
• Nothing on this site is legal advice. If a lot rides on a document, talk to a lawyer.

Plans and payments

• The free plan includes 3 documents sent for signature a month and keeps documents for 14 days. The details of each plan are on the pricing page.
• Pro is billed monthly or yearly through Lemon Squeezy, which sells it to you as the seller of record. Their terms apply to the purchase itself.
• Pro renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing in your account, and Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Your price won't go up while your subscription stays active. If prices change, they change for new subscriptions only.
• If you're not happy, contact us through the contact form within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it.
• We may change what the free plan includes. We'll give notice on the site before a change that reduces it.

Storage isn't a backup

Documents are deleted automatically when their time is up (14 days on the free plan, a year on Pro), and you can delete them sooner. Keep your own copy of anything you need, especially signed documents.

The service as it is

We work hard to keep GetPDFSigned running and correct, but it's provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change, add or remove features. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your documents.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost data or a deal falling through, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Ending things

You can stop using GetPDFSigned and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should last, like your ownership of your documents and the limits on liability, keep applying.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law where you live.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site before it takes effect. Using GetPDFSigned after that means you accept the new terms.
