Does the PDF need fillable fields?
No. You can type anywhere on the page, so scanned and flat forms work too. If the PDF has its own form fields, they show as they are but can't be typed into here, so place your text on top of them instead.
Can I cover something up on the page?
Yes. Whiteout puts a white box over it. It hides the text on the page, but the original text is still in the file, so don't use it to remove private details.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
Not unless you're signed in. Without an account, everything happens in your browser and the file stays on your device. Signed in, your documents are saved privately to your account so you can pick them up on another device.
Does it work on my phone?
