# GetPDFSigned

> GetPDFSigned is a free online e-signature tool for PDFs. You upload a PDF, mark where the other person should sign, and get an instant link to share. The person signing opens it on any phone or computer and is guided through every field one at a time, with no app to install and no account to create.

GetPDFSigned runs in the web browser on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux. It is made for everyday paperwork that needs a signature and a date: contracts, NDAs, leases and rental agreements, offer letters, quotes, consent forms, waivers and permission slips.

## Key facts

- Price: free to use. The free plan includes 3 documents sent for signature a month. Pro costs $4 a month or $36 a year and includes 100 sends a month. These are launch prices, locked in for as long as a subscription stays active. The person signing never pays.
- Signers never need an account or an app. Senders sign in with Google or an email link.
- Filling in and signing a PDF yourself, and the PDF page tools, are free with no account.
- Files: PDFs up to 10 MB and 300 pages.
- Fields: signature (drawn with a finger or mouse, or typed), initials, text, date and checkbox. Fields can be required or optional.
- For your own parts you can also add images (logos, stamps, photos) and whiteout boxes, and turn them to any angle.
- Guided signing: the page scrolls to each field, highlights it and says what to do next, so nobody misses a page.
- Speed: the signing page is kept small and starts loading the document as soon as the link is opened, so it opens quickly even on older phones and slow mobile data.
- Instant link: the signing link is ready the moment the sender sends, to share on WhatsApp, email or anywhere else.
- Record: the sender sees when the document was sent, opened and signed, from which device and IP address, plus a SHA-256 fingerprint of the sent and the signed file.
- Storage: the free plan keeps documents for 14 days, Pro for a year. Senders can delete any document at any time.
- Legal: electronic signatures are recognized for most everyday documents in the US (ESIGN Act), the EU (eIDAS) and India (IT Act, 2000). Some documents, such as wills and property sale deeds, usually still need ink or a notary.
- Safety: signing pages say plainly that senders aren't verified and have a report button. Documents reported by several people are disabled.

## How to send a PDF for signature

1. Upload the PDF at https://getpdfsigned.com/new
2. Add signature, initials, date, text and checkbox fields where the signer should act. Fill in your own parts too.
3. Sign in and create the signing link. Share it on WhatsApp, email or anywhere else.
4. Follow it from your documents page and download the signed PDF when it's done.

1. Open https://getpdfsigned.com/sign-pdf and choose the PDF.
2. Tap Signature, draw or type it, and drag it into place. Add the date or any text you need.
3. Download the signed PDF. No account needed.
